Barbara Wilson passed away peacefully at her home in Spanish Fork June 7, 2019. She was surrounded by her family, whom she loved dearly. She was 87 years old. Barbara was born September 20, 1931 in Provo Utah to Nicholas Tumburas and Ruby Mann. She was raised in Provo and Springville and graduated from Springville High School in 1949.
She married Virl Donald Wilson on November 21, 1952. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on March 20, 1970. They had two children Jeff and Bonita.
She was a beautician in her early years of marriage and enjoyed doing her family’s hair. Later she worked at Utah Valley Hospital as a housekeeper. Her favorite area to work in at the hospital, was the nursery. She loved seeing the newborn babies. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings. Her favorite place to serve was in Primary. After the death of her husband she served as a Temple worker in the Provo Temple for 17 years. She enjoyed every minute of this and was so thankful for the opportunity she had to serve.
Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother and she enjoyed anything that involved her family. Dance recitals, baseball games, basketball games, family reunions, and family dinners. She always had time for her grandkids and great-grandkids and she never wanted to miss anything that involved them. Her hobbies included painting, roller skating (in her younger years), watching basketball games, and wrestling.
She is survived by her children: Jeff (Kayleen) Wilson, Bonita (Kelly) Reynolds. Her grandchildren Trevor Wilson, Harper Wilson, Talia Whatcott (Cody), Colter Wilson Kami (Adam) Asay, Kody (Krystal) Dunn, KaitLyn Dunn, Kade (Lexie) Dunn, Zak (Haley) Reynolds, Bobbi (Jerry) Unasa, and 13 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held in her honor on Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Walker Funeral Home located at 187 South Main in Spanish Fork. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2019 at 11:00am at the Spanish Fork Pine Meadows Ward building 1167 South 1700 East. An additional viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:45am to 10:45am. Interment will be at Springville City Cemetery.
