On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, our father, husband, brother, and friend, Arthur (Art) Jackson Biggers passed away at the age of 77 in Salem, Utah.
He was born on February 2, 1948, in Beaumont, Texas to William Stullken Biggers and Gladys Odessa Stivender Biggers.
Arthur was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with his entire family on March 12, 1965 at the age of seventeen.
Art served in the Paris France Mission for the Church from 1967 to 1969. He went out with the last set of missionaries to go without formal foreign language training. So, his service extended two and a half years in order to learn the French language. Art persisted learning French at Brigham Young University and enjoyed listening to and speaking it during the course of his life.
Art earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. While at BYU he also enjoyed working as a disk jockey for the BYU radio station of the era.
Art married his wife and eternal companion, Connie Palacio on August 2, 1975, in the Manti Temple. Their devoted union of 49 years and 11 months still endures. Together they raised their two sons, Rex and Troy, instilling in them strong faith, a sense of duty and concern for people through a lifetime of caring parental examples. Art raised his family chiefly in Lake County, Florida.
During the course of being a provider for the family Art worked in roles that included TV news anchor, store manager, radio station news director, radio ad salesman, orange grove owner and caretaker, tourist ruby mine owner and manager, plus apartment complex owner and manager for students that attend Snow College. During his semi-retired years Art also enjoyed being a mobile wedding and dance DJ in Utah.
Arthur dedicated himself to serving various church callings throughout the years including serving as the high priest group leader, Sunday school president, a member of the bishopric as well as serving a mission with his wife Connie. He loved Heavenly Father and faithfully lived the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Art is survived by his loving wife, Connie; their two children, Rex and Troy, three cherished grandchildren (Alfonso Biggers, Pablo Biggers, Natalia Biggers), two living sisters (Doris Ann Biggers Loomis, Jeanette Biggers Daniels), in addition to a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, one sister (Linda Biggers Hasson) and one grandson (Leonardo Biggers.)
A visitation will be held in Art’s honor on July 8th, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 25 W. Apple Blossom Way, Salem, Utah from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow at the same location beginning at 1:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow afterward at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

July 8, 2025 at 7:04 pmArt and Connie have been the best neighbors just down the street since we moved in 9 years ago. He is always so thoughtful and kind. We have been the recipients of many fresh baked bread, rolls, and cookies. And also ice cream.
Such a giving.and genuine service couple.
I will miss your quiet and peaceful demeanor. And the always happy and smiling face even though in pain and suffering in the years I have known him.
We shared a few things in common. We both served in the France Paris Mission. I’m sure he was a DJ at the local AM Radio station KEYY Underground as I became a teenager growing up in Utah County.
One of the best men I know. Rest in peace free from pain dear Brother.
