Andrea Lee Mecham Livestream Broadcast

Andrea Lee Mecham
Date of Birth: August 25, 1982
Place of Birth: Roosevelt, Utah
Date of Passing: March 27, 2026

Early Life
She was raised in the small farming town of Tabiona, Utah, Andrea grew up on a farm, with wide open skies, hard work, and a heart pure as gold. She was born to loving parents Brent and Michele Lee of Tabiona. Those roots stuck. She carried quiet strength everywhere she went.

Family & Relationships Andrea had three marriages, most recently to her husband Brandon Mecham (father to Paislee), whom she married on May 27, 2011 they were together for nearly fifteen years. She had two children: son Mason Hughes and daughter Paislee Mecham. She was a tremendous Mother, steady, loving, always there with a hug, gift, cash, or a quiet word. She also welcomed Kendra Hughes, her daughter-in-law, as one of her own.
When Mason and Kendra married, Andrea loved Kendra just like her own child, treating her with the same warmth, pride, and endless support she gave everyone she claimed as family. She always made sure to tell us that Kendra was the favorite, half joking, but we all knew she meant it with love. As a grandmother to three grandkids, she was even better. Those little ones got her full magic: stories, crafts, porch sitting and endless patience.

Life’s Work & Passions
Daycare was her true calling for decades. She watched kids from every family, every background, remembering names, allergies, and favorite songs. Parents trusted her like family. She became a second mom to so many people. She loved simple joys, Dollar Tree runs, turning cheap finds into gifts, scrolling Facebook Marketplace and KSL for treasures, chatting with clerks who turned into friends and talking on her phone. Outgoing, soft spoken, selfless, and she always made strangers feel seen.

Final Days & Legacy
In her last weeks she fought quietly, seeking help and holding on for those she loved. Andrea leaves behind her husband Brandon Mecham (father to Paislee), her son Mason Hughes and Kendra Hughes, grandkids (3), her daughter Paislee Mecham, numerous nieces nephews and a community full of people who will miss her smile.

Survivors

Andrea is survived by her husband Brandon and daughter Paislee Mecham of Santaquin, her son Mason and daughter in law Kendra Hughes along with grandchildren Zaine Hughes, Axel Hughes, and Azalea Hughes of Clearfield Utah, her parents Brent and Michele Lee of Tabiona, her brother Brian and Jill Lee of Pocatello Idaho, sister Shanna and Sterling Boyack of Spanish Fork, brother Jared and JaNae Lee of Coalville Utah, and sister Rachelle and Doug Sorenson of Spanish Fork. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Jack and Ruby Fitzwater and Ray and Connie Lee.

In lieu of flowers and honoring my mother Andrea, do something she’d love: hug a kid, help a neighbor, smile at someone new. Embrace someone with a warm hug. She loved butterflies. When you see a butterfly please pause. Let it remind you of her warm smile, her selfless caring love, and the quiet way she made the world kinder. Now she has her own set of butterfly wings, free, beautiful, and forever flying. That’s how she’ll live on. We love you, Mom, Grandma, Daughter, Sister and Friend. Fly with the butterflies.

I cannot express the sorrow I feel for Andrea’s recent passing.

I am one of the ranch hands who work with Lynn Robbins, and I worked alongside Andrea to empty condos out that were being sold. I only spent a few hours with her, but I will always be grateful for the time I did have with her

My friend, Logan Dahl, and I have worked with Lynn Robbins for 4 years now. Of those years, we only recently came to know Andrea while working on emptying the condos. She immediately met us with a smile, always asked how we were, and as we came to know her more, she would crack jokes and tell stories that would make us laugh. She would call me by my middle name, Ethan, and she was always trying to help us in any way. If you believe it, there is a certain skill to moving large items through small doors, like couches, dressers, mattresses, etc. As my friend and I would try and move these items, without being prompted Andrea would rush to one of our sides, lightening the burden of the heavy object. Even if it didn’t always make the job easier, it meant a lot to us. As 20-year-old men, it is always expected of us to have the strength to move things just us two, so most people don’t even think of helping. Did we need the help, no, but it meant so much to us that she was one of the first people in over 4 years to actively try and help us move those items.

I will be left with a great memory of her:
I remember getting stuck trying to put a dryer vent on, and her laughing that it was taking me so long to tighten the bolt with a butter knife.
I remember her running from the king size mattress my friend was pushing down the stairs as it hurtled toward her, giggling as she ran
I remember her and Carolyn (her main coworker) always bantering with one another.
I remember her telling us a story about getting in a random vehicle with two strange men, laughing about how stupid of a task that was and how lucky she is none of them were “axe murderers”.

My sincerest and deepest apologies once again for the loss, and I am forever grateful for having only great memories of her just as I imagine you have.

    Brent, Michele & Family –
I am very sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Andrea – she was a baby/toddler during the times I was visiting your home with Grandma Ida Smith and Aunt Lois. I have thought of your family often during the years, because those time spent at your home with Grandma and Aunt Lois are cherished childhood memories. Please know that your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Much Love – “Andrea, may you go home to our Heavenly Father on butterfly wings”
