Amberly Youd was born on October 14, 1978, to Kent and Becky Lee Hansen Youd.
She passed away on November 21, 2020, due to complications with brain cancer.
She grew up in Lake Shore, Utah, with four brothers. She attended Spanish Fork High School, graduating in 1997, and then went on to attend Snow College. She worked at Nature’s Sunshine alongside her mother, Becky. She also worked at SAG’S and Salem Chevron for many years. She then went to work at Wayfair as a customer service consultant.
Amberly was a shopaholic who loved to spend time with her friends and spoil her nieces and nephews. She was always ready to have fun and a good time with those around her, whether it be going to the local mall or heading up to Bear Lake, over the summer, with her friends. She adored her nieces and nephews and was always there to help them succeed in life. She was incredibly passionate about going to rodeos, concerts; and most importantly, her family.
Amberly was incredibly brave. Throughout her entire life, she has faced many health challenges. When she was young, she was faced with kidney failure, that over her life led to her having three kidney transplants. She was forever grateful to those who helped her live her best life through those challenges. Due to her many kidney transplants at such a young age, she developed a rare form of brain cancer, which she fought valiantly, but eventually succumbed to.
She is survived by her parents, Kent and Becky Youd; four brothers: Jarett (Shari) Youd, Weston (Heather) Youd, Shawn (Kristin) Youd, and Matthew Youd.; as well as six nieces, ten nephews and a single great-niece. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Fonda Hansen; and Max and Marie Youd.

A viewing will be held for family and friends on Friday evening, November 27, 2020, from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah. A private viewing and funeral service for family only will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Friends and public may watch the livestream services starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday at this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtjeC95d9KdasygmNfvDn7g
Interment will be at Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
