Allen Lee Jensen Funeral Service

Allen Lee Jensen, of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2023. Allen was born February 12, 1974, to Bob Jensen and Carol Christensen.  After graduating from Payson High School, he went into the workforce, but always reminded his friends that a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work. Allen worked at the Hydro Aluminum Plant in Spanish Fork for over 25 yrs.

On August 24, 2013, he married the love of his life Brandy Bauman Jensen which was the absolute most amazing wedding ever! Friends and family would always ask when the next party for their anniversary was scheduled. They had one child Sofie who he just adored. Allen loved being a Dad. Some of his greatest joy came from raising her and spending time in Mesquite on family trips. She was his little princess and the one person, in addition to his wife, that he wanted to spend all his free time with.

Allen loved the great outdoors, Utes football, and spending time with family and friends around a warm campfire talking about fishing, hunting, and the occasional (adult) funny joke. Those who knew him could always expect a quick-witted comment from him in any situation that would keep us in giggles. With a simple smile, you always knew what he was thinking. He was a true “Gentle Giant” that cherished his friendships. Seems the only argument around the Jensen house was who loved who more… “I love you more, I win!” Needless to say he’ll be greatly missed!

Allen is survived by his wife Brandy and daughter Sofie, his mother Carol Christensen, his brother Steve (Lori) Jensen, his two sisters Mary Ann (William) Victor and Katie Kennedy. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Bob Jensen, his brother-in-law Joey Kennedy, and his mother-in-law Audrey Bauman.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Walker Funeral Home, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah. Family and friends may gather for visitation prior from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah.

In Lieu of flowers, if you would like to give a donation to Brandy and Sofie for expenses, her sister is collecting donations in their name through Venmo at @Candi-Bown.

We loved Allen. Such a sweet man who loved Brandy and Sofie with all of his heart. He really was a gentle giant who left much too early. Beautiful Brandy, we can’t imagine how badly you feel. Please know that we love you very much. Connie and Ron

I had the pleasure of working with Allen for many years. He was always such a pleasant person and a really great listener. During a particularly stressful period in my life I would go find Allen to share all my frustrations. He would stop what he was working on and listen for as long as I kept talking. I never told him how much I appreciated him for listening, but it sure meant a lot to me.

We all lost a good man with Allen’s passing.
