Adam Tyler Draper November 16, 1981 - November 1, 2023

Adam Tyler Draper, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 1, 2023 in West Valley City, UT.

Adam was born on November 16, 1981 in Salt Lake City, UT to Howard Matthews Draper and Peggy Ann Warner. Adam grew up in West Jordan, UT. In 2000, he graduated from West Jordan High School. Following high school, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Minnesota Minneapolis mission from 2001-2003.

After his mission, Adam attended some classes at Salt Lake Community College prior to entering the workforce. Over the years he worked counting inventory and picking orders in a warehouse setting. He enjoyed this type of work because it kept him moving so he could always get his steps in.

Adam was an avid sports fan. Growing up, he played basketball, baseball and soccer. His favorite teams were the Utah Jazz, University of Utah, Atlanta Braves, and Green Bay Packers. He participated in fantasy football leagues and achieved multiple first-place finishes over the years. He enjoyed reading from a young age and was a frequent patron of the Salt Lake County library system. He loved music and especially liked listening to Michael Jackson and Billy Joel. He was also a big fan of all things Nike. Adam could often be found at singles ward events, gathering with friends and was always up for an impromptu road trip.

Adam was preceded in death by his parents Howard Draper and Peggy Draper. He is survived by his brother Blake (Michelle) Draper, nephews Garrett Draper and Cameron Draper, niece Autumn Draper, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. located at the Granger Single Adult Building, 5180 West 4700 South, West Valley City, UT. Family and friends may attend a visitation prior to the service from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork Cemetery.

Adam was a good friend, and remember. I remember how good a baseball player he was, especially his three pointers during church ball(many, many, moons ago, Lol). He was a team player. He always had a special Spirit to him. He
was very patient, kind, understanding, and humble. I remember him helping myself and others learn new games at our ward game nights, and personally give me pointers on what to do next, or what card to put down, etc. He was a good friend to all. I am honored to have known him, and he has touched so many of our lives. We will all miss you Adam, but we know you will be with family, and friends in the eternities, watching down on us, and passing on through the veil to a new calling, new mission, and new divine purpose. I am so sorry to Adam’s family, and friends for their loss her on Earth, but know that he has a greater responsibility and purpose in the Spirit World. Lastly, God be with us all, till we meet again.
