K. Justin Walker November 10, 1975 - December 31, 2022

Kevin Justin Walker of Springville, Utah finally found rest on Saturday, December 31, 2022, passing away in Provo, Utah, at the age of 47. He was a father, friend, brother, son, grandson, and nephew who will be missed by many.

Affectionately known as “Bearded” to those who loved him, Justin was born on November 10, 1975, in Provo, Utah, the firstborn son of Kevin Wilford Walker and JoAnn Robinson. He had three younger brothers: Brandon, Waylon, and Wade.

Justin grew up in American Fork, Orem, and Spanish Fork, Utah; he loved playing junior sports through his schools and the community. He attended Spanish Fork High School, and later received his GED.

In 2003, at the age of 27, Justin became a proud father to his only daughter, Whitney Jo, whom he loved and cherished with his whole heart.

Throughout his life, Justin enjoyed snowboarding, fishing, hunting, music, and all types of sports, including football, basketball, baseball, and golf. He knew countless facts and statistics about his favorite professional teams and players. He loved the Utah Jazz, and was a lifelong devoted fan of the Chicago Bears—his #1 favorite team.

Justin loved candy, and regularly had sweet treats within reach, earning him the nickname “Snacky.”

Justin had a unique style that was all his own. He always appreciated a well-put-together outfit and a nice pair of shoes, and prided himself on his ability to dress well. He also loved shopping for new clothes, and had learned how to create custom clothing items in the months before his passing.

Justin always had a connection with music and lyrics and enjoyed many different genres and artists. Among his favorites were Jim Morrison, Alice in Chains, and the Red-Hot Chili Peppers. Justin could always find a song that spoke to him and his life experiences and he found great meaning in that.

Justin is survived by his daughter, Whitney Walker of Springville, Utah; his mother and stepfather, JoAnn & Chuck Hughes, also of Springville; his brothers, Brandon (Michelle) Walker and Waylon Walker of Parowan, Utah, and Wade Walker of Orem, Utah; two nephews, Justice (Baily) & Kasen Walker; and a great-niece, Hazel Walker (with one great-niece on the way).

Justin was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Wilford Walker, all of his grandparents, several uncles, an aunt, and many friends.

A memorial service for Justin will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2023, beginning at 12:00 Noon, at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Justin. I have heard many great stories that included him over the past 12 years- and always told with a big smile on my husbands face. I only met him a few times- but he always was so kind and made me feel like he had known me forever-
