October 20, 2022 at 2:44 amGene (Raymond Eugene Carlsen) was our neighbor in Emery, and he was the best neighbor and friend one could ever have, he was so generous, loving and kind. Gene and I are fellow veterans who loved sharing experiences from our military service during the Viet Nam War era. He is one of the most patriotic Americans I have ever known, a true fellow warrior for the cause of freedom and liberty in a nation he truly loved. Gene was also true to his God and faithful in his commitment to follow Jesus Christ. We love Gene very much and have missed him dearly since he moved to Payson. Now we know he will be with us again by ministering to us all through the great and perfect strength of his eternal spirit.
All our love and prayers of comfort for Gene’s wonderful family and friends,
Todd and Mark Minchey
Emery, UT
