It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, Carol Dee Cluff Rowley, 85, of Elk Ridge, UT. She passed away in her home on August 18, 2022.
Carol was born to William and Bernice (Brown) Cluff on June 21, 1937, in Superior, AZ. Carol married the love of her life, Shirl Elvis Rowley, on December 28, 1954, and they raised six children together. She loved her family more than anything.
Some of her favorite activities were crocheting afghans and reading a variety of novels! She also enjoyed playing games, camping, boating, and traveling, but her passion was spending time with her kids and grandkids. They brought so much joy to her life.
Carol is survived by her six children: Kim (Karen) Rowley, Scott (Cindy) Rowley, Jerry (Pamela) Rowley, Shauna (Steven) Sather, Darrin Rowley, Caroline (David) Meyer, 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter, her sister: Elaine (Gary) Hanson and her sister-in-law: Klea Warner.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, her parents and her two sisters: Norma Warner and Venna Long.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Spanish Fork Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may attend a visitation from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah, prior to the graveside service.

August 30, 2022 at 10:15 amWe felt so blessed to get to know Carol at the Care Center. What sweet lady! She was one of the best examples of enduring well to the end that I have ever seen. She always greeted everyone with a smile and a positive, grateful attitude, never complaining. She was so proud of her children and thought the world of them. She and Shirl were such a cute couple. I’d love to have seen that reunion. May you find comfort in knowing they are happy to be together again.
Love,
Lee and Wendy Pope
