Our beloved wife, sister, and friend Geraldine (Gerri) Lorraine Pace, passed away peacefully after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. She returned home to her Heavenly Father on July 20, 2022 in Salem, Utah.

Gerri was born January 23, 1951, in Price, Utah the oldest of six children, to Warren and Dorothy Lorraine Pendley. She grew up in Magna in her early childhood and in Spanish Fork, Utah where she graduated from Spanish Fork High School.

She later met the Love of her life, Wayne Pace and they married in Ely, Nevada. They made their home in Spanish Fork and in Salem, Utah.

Gerri was a baptized member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved the peace the gospel brought to her life. She was a devoted wife, sister and loving aunt to her many niecesĀ and nephews. Gerri made sure that her family knew she was there for them. Her home was always welcoming. She had a wonderful gift of making people feel at ease and loved as you visited with her. She always had words of encouragement to offer her siblings and her beauty shone through to her family and friends. She was a nurturer. Gerri was a kind and generous person. She was a loving friend to all who knew her.

One of Gerri’s passions was working alongsideĀ her husband on their farm and taking care of the animals. Another passion was gardening. She had a green thumb and grew beautiful flowers and a vegetable garden. She loved cooking and was a very good cook. She lovingly shared her many recipes with her family.

Geraldine was one of my very few friends I had in life. She was my High School friend and we walked to school together every day. Somehow we lost touch, but my memories of her will fondly be remembered.

Wayne, so sorry to hear about Gerri. She was a wonderful lady, and a great wife and partner to you. Where one of you went, there was always the other. I still have very clear, and fond memories of her tending me when I was a young boy, that was over 50 years ago. I know there are no words that can take your pain away now, but just know I am thinking of you, and y’all are in my prayers.
