Cameron (Cam) Bryce Larsen, 21, returned home to his Heavenly Father on May 2, 2022.
He was born on January 8, 2001 in Orem, Utah to Nicole Marie Hunter and Bryce David Larsen. He was a bright eyed, curious little boy who dreamed big and loved bigger.
He was an old soul with inquisitive blue eyes and a smile that could melt your heart. He grew into a friendly, loyal, funny, supportive, and inclusive man.
He graduated from Salem Hills High School in 2019 with high honors, and was proud of playing wide receiver and special teams on the Salem Hills football team for 4 years.
He dated his best friend, LeAnn (Ellis) Larsen for 3 years, and married her on September 18, 2021 in Provo, Utah.
Cam was intelligent and a deep thinker and liked to engage in conversations on difficult topics. He had a treasure trove of random facts in his head. He was also not a fan of silence and filled those uncomfortable voids with even more uncomfortable communication and questions.
Cam was a meticulous and hard worker. He put his heart fully into everything he did, and he always wanted to do his best. He was an ambitious entrepreneur and was often exploring new business endeavors. He simultaneously worked as a manager at Culvers in Spanish Fork, joined a new business venture with friends, and had recently started acting. He was on America’s Funniest Videos and even landed a role in a commercial for Falter Media and auditioned for a small part in Yellowstone, his dream show.
Cam thought of himself as a cowboy and loved spending time fishing, hunting, camping and horseback riding. He loved country music, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Utah Jazz. He liked to travel and especially loved his trip with his dad and brother to Dallas to see the Cowboys Stadium in 2019 and his recent trip to Alaska with family.
He loved spending time with his brothers, cousins, and uncles playing any sport from basketball to football, corn hole, and sting ping. He loved playing games with his family, and there are many memories of Taboo, Catch Phrase, and Scattergories moments that will go down in family history. Another favorite while in high school was midnight runs to McDonalds and filming silly videos with siblings.
Cam is survived by his wife LeAnn Ellis Larsen; his parents Nicole Pruitt (mom) & Brent Johnson, Bryce Larsen (dad) and Kelly Larsen, Jon & Holly Ellis (in-laws); his grandparents Barbara Sommer, and Dave & Denise Larsen; his siblings Corbin (brother) & Baylee Larsen, Cody & Lexi (sister) Daybell, Easton Pruitt, Payton Larsen, 9 step siblings, 3 nieces, and 1 nephew. He is also survived by Tiffany (Aunt) & Devin Johnson, Mark (uncle) & Stacy Sommer, Josh (uncle) & Becky Sommer, Erica (aunt) & Colby Davis, Karsen Sommer (cousin), Teagan Sommer (cousin), Boston Sommer (cousin), Aizlyn Sommer (cousin), and many more cousins and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Bill Hunter and uncle, Travis Hunter.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home in Payson, UT.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 7th at 10:00 a.m. at the LDS church building at 450 Elk Ridge Drive, Elk Ridge, Utah 84651-4637
